Manager of Pricing (80 views)

The Manager of Pricing is responsible for executing pricing strategies in partnership with the merchant team to drive incremental sales and profits.  This position with the use & development of analytical models and techniques to research changes in pricing, ascertain the effect of those changes on sales and financial KPI’s – recommending appropriate pricing strategies to merchants across both channels – stores and digital.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and historical results of pricing activity to identify opportunities, develop ideas, and make recommendations for optimal pricing performance to the merchant team
  • Manage the pricing tools – continually improving & evolving the models and process. Analyze price override reporting and research abnormal markdown charges
  • Strong analytical skills creative problem solver that can run analyses on large data sets, build complex analytical models sources of information from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive, balanced & actionable analysis
  • Coordinate with merchant team and store operations to develop and maintain systematic pricing rules and strategies
  • Collaborate on forecasts and liquidation strategies to ensure FOB age standards and department comprehensive standards are achieved
  • Provide support and analyses on ad hoc projects
  • Analyze, execute and report on RTV’s, Stock Locator, BOSS, BORIS and other Omni-Channel programs

Qualifications

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (pivots, macos, nested formula building)
  • Advanced knowledge of querying, integrating and aggregating large data sets
  • Experience in retail pricing, statistical analysis or trade spend effectiveness
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, projects and tasks
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
